Day 1 – Arrival in Kabul
Arrive in Kabul and transfer to your hotel. After time to rest and settle in, enjoy a trip briefing outlining the journey ahead.
Overnight: Kabul
Day 2 – Kabul → Bamiyan
Drive from Kabul to Bamiyan, the historic capital of the Hazarajat region. Upon arrival, explore the surrounding hillsides, home to ancient caves that once housed monasteries and remarkable Buddhist carvings.
Overnight: Bamiyan
Day 3 – Skiing in Bamiyan (Koh-e Baba Range)
Following routes explored over the past decade, ski the slopes of the Koh-e Baba mountain range, enjoying vast expanses of untouched powder and pristine terrain. Along the way, you may meet local men eager to ski alongside you on homemade skis, assist with avalanche prevention, or invite you into their homes for tea—an authentic part of the Ski Afghanistan experience.
Overnight: Bamiyan
Day 4 – Foladi Valley Skiing
Spend the day skiing in the beautiful Foladi Valley. Local boys may join you on the slopes with their traditional wooden skis. Enjoy lunch with local families before continuing an afternoon of skiing together.
Overnight: Bamiyan
Day 5 – Bamiyan Ski Race
This trip is timed to coincide with Bamiyan’s annual ski touring race, held every year since 2011. Whether participating or spectating, this event is a true highlight, showcasing local talent, resilience, and community spirit.
Overnight: Bamiyan
Day 6 – Bamiyan → Kabul
Drive back to Kabul. In the afternoon, visit any sights missed earlier, including the Sakhi Shrine and the historic Babur’s Gardens.
Overnight: Kabul
Day 7 – Departure
Transfer to the airport for your onward journey.
End of Trip.
